Yemanja Ascending

Many of our greatest challenges have their origin in our experiences with caregivers. In order to thrive and realize our full potential it is necessary to examine, cleanse, heal, and atone with the inner narratives that stem from these core wounds. Plant medicine offers a unique opportunity to delve into the subconscious where this inner child resides and allows the individual to recieve insight, divine guidance, and ancestral communion. 

The Yemanja Rising retreat couples plant medicine ceremony with community support, immersion in nature, and integrative therapies to provide participants with tangible tools for lasting self-transformation. The experience will be anchored in the sacred Afro-Brazilian Candomble' festival of Yemanja, the Orisha of the Oceans. She is known as a powerful central deity in many West African religions aid to watch over sailors and fishermen and control their catches. Her energies concern every aspect of womanhood, fertility and family; she is also the protector of children. 

Together we will face our inner child and mother wounds, and bathe in the wisdom that emanates from the source of all life on Earth - the sea.
